In November 2025, the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga emerged as the most popular choice, leaving behind competitors like Mahindra Scorpio, Bolero, XUV700, Toyota Innova, Kia Carens Clavis, Renault Triber, and Tata Safari.
Top Performers in November 2025
- Maruti Suzuki Ertiga: Leading the segment, 16,197 units of the compact MPV were sold, marking a 7% year-on-year increase from 15,150 units in November 2024.
- Mahindra Scorpio: The Scorpio series, including Scorpio-N and Scorpio Classic, recorded 15,616 units sold, up 23% from last year.
- Mahindra Bolero: Combined sales of Bolero and Bolero Neo reached 10,521 units, a remarkable 49% increase compared to 7,045 units last November.
- Toyota Innova: Total sales of Innova Crysta and Innova Hycross hit 9,295 units, an 18% rise from 7,867 units last year.
- Kia Carens: The family-favorite SUV sold 6,530 units, showing a 15% annual growth.
- Mahindra XUV700: Sales dipped to 6,176 units, a 32% decline from 9,100 units last year.
- Toyota Fortuner: The powerful 7-seater SUV sold 2,676 units, down 7% year-on-year.
- Maruti Suzuki XL6: Registered 2,445 units, slightly lower than last year’s 2,483 units.
- Renault Triber: The most affordable 7-seater saw strong sales of 2,064 units, a 39% increase from last November.
- Tata Safari: Completed the top 10 list with 1,895 units sold, up from 1,563 units last year.

The rising preference for large family cars highlights the popularity of 7-seater MPVs and SUVs in India. Compact MPVs like the Ertiga and Carens appeal to urban families, while SUVs like the Scorpio, XUV700, and Fortuner continue to attract buyers seeking space, power, and rugged performance.
