REDMI 15C 5G Launched in India at ₹12,499: Large Display, 6000mAh Battery, and 50MP Camera

Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi has officially launched its budget-friendly REDMI 15C 5G smartphone in India. Set to hit the market on 11 December 2025, the device comes packed with features designed for the mid-range segment, including a large display, long-lasting battery, and high-resolution cameras.

The REDMI 15C 5G is available in Dusk Purple, Moonlight Blue, and Midnight Black. Pricing starts at ₹12,499 for the 4GB + 128GB model, ₹13,999 for the 6GB + 128GB variant, and ₹15,499 for the 8GB + 128GB top-end model. The smartphone can be purchased via Amazon, Xiaomi’s official website, and offline retail stores starting 11 December.

The smartphone features a 6.9-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness of 810 nits. The display is TÜV Rheinland certified, ensuring minimal strain on the eyes during prolonged usage.

Powering the REDMI 15C 5G is the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, built on a 6nm process, paired with 4GB to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. Users can expand storage up to 1TB via a microSD card, making it suitable for heavy multitasking and large data storage.

The device runs on Android 15-based HyperOS 2 and supports dual SIM functionality. It boasts a 50MP primary rear camera and an 8MP front-facing selfie camera. Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, 3.5mm audio jack, FM radio, and a large 6000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. Weighing 211 grams, the REDMI 15C 5G carries an IP64 rating, offering protection against dust and water.

With its large display, powerful camera, and robust battery, the REDMI 15C 5G positions itself as a strong contender in India’s affordable 5G smartphone market.
