The Supreme Court of India has declined to list the petition seeking an urgent hearing regarding the ongoing Indigo Airlines flight crisis. The bench, headed by Chief Justice D.Y. Suryakant, noted that the Government of India has already taken cognizance of the issue and is actively addressing it.
During the hearing, lawyers highlighted the widespread disruption caused by sudden flight cancellations across several airports in the country. They emphasized that passengers were left stranded without prior notice, calling it a serious matter affecting thousands of travelers.
