Pakistani Cricketer Abbas Afridi Smashes Six Sixes in a Single Over Against Kuwait at Hong Kong Sixes
Mong Kok, Hong Kong: Pakistani all-rounder Abbas Afridi stunned cricket fans by hitting six sixes in a single over during the Hong Kong Sixes match against Kuwait. However, as per tournament rules, this feat does not count towards official records.
The Hong Kong Sixes is a unique, high-scoring tournament with 6-over matches, designed purely for entertainment. Teams consist of six players, with the wicketkeeper exempt from bowling, and the other five players must bowl an over each.
Afridi’s Incredible Over
The explosive right-handed batsman faced Yaseen Patel’s 5th over, dispatching every ball for maximums. The last delivery of the over, bowled above the waist, was declared a no-ball, giving Afridi an extra delivery. He completed the over with 38 runs, including the six sixes.
