Bihar Set to Enforce New Coaching Policy From 2026–27; Complete Ban on Govt Teachers Taking Coaching Classes
Patna: The Bihar government is preparing to roll out a revised coaching regulation policy aimed at increasing transparency, preventing exploitation of students, and ensuring accountability in the coaching sector. The updated policy is expected to be approved by the state cabinet by the end of this month and implemented statewide from the 2026–27 academic session (April 2026).
Earlier, the policy was scheduled for implementation in the ongoing academic year, but the Assembly elections caused a delay.
