In a chilling reminder of the growing global cyber-crime nexus, six young men from Bihar — lured abroad with promises of lucrative jobs — were trafficked to Myanmar’s notorious KK Park, where they were forced into cyber slavery. After weeks of torture, coercion and exploitation, they were finally rescued and brought back to Patna on Friday by officers of Bihar’s Economic Offences Unit (EOU). These individuals were among 360 Indian nationals freed through a coordinated operation by the Government of India in partnership with local agencies.
