Kota: In a first-of-its-kind initiative, the Rajasthan government has decided that students and teachers in government schools will wear traditional local attire once a week, excluding jewelry. The move aims to promote cultural awareness and preserve local heritage among the younger generation.
Education Minister Supports Government of India ProposalRajasthan Education Minister Madan Dilawar confirmed that the state has accepted a proposal from the Government of India’s Department of School Education and Literacy to encourage cultural consciousness in schools. Under the initiative, all students and staff in government and private schools are encouraged to wear local traditional clothing one day each week.
