Delhi Blast Probe Reveals Multiple Planned Attacks, Parliament Targeted
New Delhi: Investigations into the Red Fort blast on the evening of November 10 have unveiled a far-reaching terror plan. The attackers had targeted the VVIP area of Delhi, including a potential strike on the Parliament during its upcoming winter session. The module’s plot involved 38 vehicles across the country, with links traced to Aligarh Muslim University (AMU).
High-Level Planning and Reconnaissance
According to sources, the main conspirator, Dr. Umar, traveled to Mewat, Haryana, the night before the blast. CCTV footage shows him passing through a toll plaza at 1:36 AM with an explosives-laden vehicle. Arrested suspects, Dr. Mujammil and Dr. Adil, revealed that the module had conducted reconnaissance of the Parliament and Constitution Club, aiming for an attack during the winter...
