Ghaziabad May See Hike in Long-Distance Bus Fares; Linked to Kaushambi Depot’s Development Plan
Ghaziabad: Fares for long-distance buses operating from Ghaziabad may soon increase, with the proposed development of the Kaushambi Bus Depot emerging as the primary factor behind the projected hike. As part of a major upgrade plan, operations at Kaushambi will shift temporarily, leading to added costs that transport operators are expected to pass on to passengers.
PPP Model Work to Begin; Operations Shift to Anand Vihar
Under the new Public–Private Partnership (PPP) model, redevelopment work at the Kaushambi depot is scheduled to begin early next year.
