Good News for Travelers! UPSRTC Gears Up to Bring Back Passengers After Chhath Festival — 25 Buses to Run on Every Purvanchal Route
The Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) has announced a major relief for passengers returning from their hometowns after the Diwali and Chhath festivals. To handle the heavy rush of people coming back to Delhi-NCR from Purvanchal, the corporation will operate extra buses on all major routes from November 6 onwards.
25 Buses per Route for Purvanchal
Officials said that at least 25 buses will be deployed on every major Purvanchal route, compared to the regular 8–12 buses. These buses will cover long-distance destinations such as Gorakhpur, Varanasi, Azamgarh, Mau, and Ballia, ensuring a smooth return journey for passengers.
