German Couple Detained Near India–Pakistan Border Fined ₹6 Lakh, Deportation Initiated
Security and intelligence agencies have taken strict action against a German couple detained in the border area of Sri Karanpur in Sri Ganganagar district, close to the India–Pakistan international border. Following a detailed investigation, the authorities have imposed a fine of ₹6 lakh on the couple and initiated deportation proceedings as per established protocols.
According to official sources, the couple was taken into custody after they were found moving in a sensitive border zone without proper authorization. The Joint Intelligence Committee (JIC) conducted an extensive interrogation, during which several crucial disclosures were made.
