Ganga Expressway to Connect with Yamuna Expressway: Land Acquisition from 56 Villages Underway, Route Details Revealed
In a major infrastructure initiative aimed at strengthening Uttar Pradesh’s expressway network, work has begun on a 74.3-kilometer link expressway connecting the Ganga Expressway with the Yamuna Expressway. The ambitious project will pass through 56 villages across Gautam Buddh Nagar and Bulandshahr districts, with an estimated cost of ₹4,000 crore.
Project Details and Land Acquisition
According to R.K. Singh, CEO of Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA), 16 villages within the YEIDA jurisdiction, covering approximately 740 acres, will be acquired to construct this 20-kilometer section, which includes around 9 km of elevated expressway.
