Lucknow, December 12, 2025: The Uttar Pradesh AYUSH Department has initiated departmental action against Dr. Ajay Kumar, the acting District Homeopathy Medical Officer (DHMO) of Ayodhya, following allegations of widespread irregularities in medicine procurement. The Principal Secretary of AYUSH, Ranjan Kumar, issued orders on Wednesday removing Dr. Ajay from his post and attaching him to the Sonbhadra District Homeopathy Office until the inquiry is completed.
