CBSE Non-Teaching Vacancy 2025: Last Chance to Apply Extended, Apply by December 27

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has extended the last date for applications for its non-teaching recruitment 2025. Candidates who have not yet applied can now submit their applications online at the official CBSE website: www.cbse.gov.in.

CBSE invites applications for multiple positions including Assistant Secretary, Accounts Officer, Junior Translation Officer, Junior Accountant, and Junior Assistant, among others. This recruitment drive is an excellent opportunity for candidates preparing for government jobs.

The original deadline was December 22, but candidates now have until December 27 to apply. Through this recruitment under the Direct Recruitment Quota Examination 2026 (DRQ2026), CBSE will fill 124 vacancies across Group A, B, and C posts.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a recognized university with at least 55% marks, depending on the post. Certain positions require specialized qualifications, such as:

  • Economics, Commerce, Accounts, Finance, Business Studies, Cost Accounting – Bachelors/MBA/CA/ICWA
  • Hindi – Master’s degree
  • 12th pass – For posts like Junior Assistant

Typing skills are required for Accountant and Junior Assistant posts:

  • English: 35 words per minute
  • Hindi: 30 words per minute

Age Limit and Salary

  • Age: Minimum 18 years; maximum 27–35 years (post-specific). Relaxations as per government rules.
  • Salary: Monthly pay as per Pay Level 2 to Level 10, depending on the post.

Selection Process

Selection will be based on a written exam (Tier-1 and Tier-2), and interviews for select posts.

Application Fee

  • SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen/Female candidates: ₹250
  • General/OBC/EWS candidates:
  • Group A: ₹1,750
  • Group B & C: ₹1,050

  1. Visit CBSE Official Website.
  2. Navigate to Notice/Announcements and select Direct Recruitment Quota Examination 2026.
  3. Click on Apply Online.
  4. For new candidates, click New Registration, fill in details, and create a password.
  5. Complete the form, upload required documents, and pay the application fee.
  6. Take a printout of the final form for your records.
