Eligibility Criteria
HTET is conducted at three levels:
Level I (Primary Teacher, Class 1–5):
- Senior Secondary or equivalent with minimum 50% marks.
- 2-year Elementary Education Diploma (D.El.Ed / B.El.Ed) or equivalent.
- Candidates in the final year of their diploma or degree are eligible to register.
Level II (Trained Graduate Teacher, Class 6–8):
- Graduation in the relevant subject with minimum 50% marks.
- BTC/JBT/D.El.Ed or B.El.Ed in the relevant field.
Level III (Post Graduate Teacher, PGT):
- Post Graduation in the relevant subject with B.Ed degree.
Passing Marks
- General Candidates: 60% (90 marks)
- SC/Physically Challenged (Haryana): 55%
- Other SC/Divyang Candidates: 60%
Each level has a duration of 150 minutes. Admit cards will be issued before the examination.

How to Apply
- Visit bseh.org.in and click on Apply Online for HTET 2025 in the News section.
- Click New Registration if you are a first-time applicant and fill in personal details such as name, father’s name, date of birth, mobile number, and email.
- Verify the details and click Save & Proceed. Registration ID and password will be generated.
- Log in using credentials and complete the application form with accurate details.
- Review the form and submit the application fee online.
- Take a printout of the submitted form for future reference.
