* Hazaribagh (Jharkhand): In a major breakthrough, Hazaribagh Police have arrested six criminals involved in two separate cases of extortion and intimidation. The accused had allegedly demanded ₹10 lakh from a local doctor and later opened fire outside his residence to spread fear when their demands were not met. According to Barhi Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Ajit Kumar Vimal, the gang contacted the doctor on October 30, demanding ₹10 lakh as extortion money.
