Ranchi:** The Jharkhand coalition government, led by Chief Minister Hemant Soren, is set to complete its first year in office on 28 November. To mark this milestone, a grand state-level ceremony will be held at Morhabadi Grounds in the state capital, where CM Hemant Soren will distribute appointment letters to over 10,000 young men and women.
Earlier on Thursday, CM Soren paid tribute at Lukaiyatand (Nemra, Gola) on the 68th martyrdom day of Sobran Soren. Laying a wreath at the martyr’s statue, the CM praised the bravery of local youth who fearlessly stood up for the rights of indigenous and tribal communities against exploitation and injustice.
Women Benefiting and Gaining Self-Reliance
Highlighting the government’s initiatives, CM Soren said multiple welfare schemes are being implemented to strengthen rural economies, support farmers, and ensure the well-being of the poor. He emphasized that future plans will be designed to position Jharkhand among the leading states in the country. Women in particular are gaining self-reliance by actively participating in these schemes.
Focus on Employment and Self-Employment
As part of the one-year celebration, the state government will provide official appointments to over 10,000 youths. CM Soren noted that the government is not only creating jobs but also promoting avenues for self-employment. “Our administration operates not just from the state capital but directly from villages, reaching citizens where they live,” he said.
Schemes Now Accessible at Doorsteps
The Chief Minister stressed that citizens no longer need to navigate bureaucratic offices to benefit from government schemes. Officials are now directly reaching out to people, middlemen are being removed, and strict monitoring of government services is in place to ensure transparency and efficiency.
