Batting first against Arunachal Pradesh at the JSCA Oval Ground in Ranchi, Bihar piled up a staggering 574 runs for 6 wickets in 50 overs, a feat never achieved before in the format.
The tournament, which features several Indian stars including Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, was instantly overshadowed by Bihar’s extraordinary batting display that stunned the cricketing fraternity.
A Batting Carnage Like Never Before
Winning the toss, Bihar opted to bat—and what followed was a relentless onslaught from start to finish.
The spotlight was firmly on 14-year-old prodigy Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who produced one of the most astonishing knocks in domestic cricket history. Supporting the carnage was Ayush Anand Loharuka, who blasted 116 runs off 56 balls at a strike rate of 207.14, hitting 11 fours and 8 sixes. The fireworks did not stop there.
