Kuldeep Yadav dominated with the ball across all three ODIs:

- 2nd ODI: 1 wicket for 78 runs
- 3rd ODI: 4 wickets to seal the series
This stellar display took Kuldeep’s career ODI tally to 191 wickets in 117 matches, at an average of 26.29. He emerged as the highest wicket-taker in the series against South Africa.
A Light-Hearted Moment with Virat Kohli
Following the award ceremony, a video shared by the BCCI on X (formerly Twitter) captured a humorous exchange. While Kuldeep was about to give a speech, Virat Kohli jokingly urged him, saying, “Ro de, ro de” (Go ahead, speak!). The moment had everyone laughing. Kuldeep then praised his teammates, saying, “Nothing special from my side. Congratulations to Virat bhai and Jasoo (Yashasvi Jaiswal) for their brilliant innings.”
The BCCI assistant coach Ryan ten Doeschate also praised Kuldeep, calling him the “Impact Player of the Series” for consistently contributing across all three ODIs in a series largely dominated by batting performances.
