
Sri Ganganagar, Rajasthan: The ongoing BSF recruitment process in Sri Ganganagar was disrupted when a swarm of bees suddenly attacked candidates at the recruitment ground. The unexpected incident left several aspirants injured, with 18 requiring hospitalization for medical care. As a precautionary measure, the recruitment schedule has been postponed.
Incident Details
The attack occurred so suddenly that candidates had no time to react. More than two dozen aspirants were stung, leading to panic at the recruitment venue. Immediate first aid was provided on-site, while those requiring further treatment were transported to the district hospital via ambulance.
Medical Response
District Hospital DC Dr. Jyotsna Choudhary reported that among the 18 hospitalized candidates, 10 are in stable condition, while 8 continue to receive treatment. Doctors are closely monitoring all patients, and none of the injuries are reported to be life-threatening.
Authorities Respond
Upon receiving the information, PMO official Sukhpal Singh Barad and senior doctors visited the hospital to assess the situation. BSF officers were also present to check on the well-being of the candidates. The administration is keeping a close watch on developments.
Recruitment Postponed
In view of the incident and to ensure the safety and health of all candidates, the BSF recruitment process has been rescheduled. The new date will be officially announced shortly.
