Collector Instructs for Timely Completion of Flyover Projects and Improvement in Air Quality

Indore, November 2, 2025

Collector Shivam Verma conducted an inspection of the two flyover projects being constructed by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) in Indore on Sunday. The inspection covered the flyovers under construction at MR-10 near Best Price and in the Arjun Baroda area. He was accompanied by Additional Collector Roshan Rai and other concerned officials.

During the inspection, Collector Verma reviewed the progress of the ongoing works and directed officials to ensure their timely completion. He emphasized maintaining high construction quality and safety standards, ensuring that citizens face no inconvenience during the process.

To improve air quality, officials informed that two mist towers are being installed near the project sites. Collector Verma instructed that additional mist towers should be installed wherever required to keep pollution levels under control and maintain cleaner air.

It was also reported that asphalt work on the service roads adjoining both flyovers has been completed, resulting in smoother and more convenient traffic movement for commuters. The Collector further directed authorities to strengthen lighting arrangements in the Arjun Baroda area and to ensure strict adherence to safety protocols throughout the construction phase.
