On the occasion of Madhya Pradesh Foundation Day, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav inaugurated the “MP e-Seva Portal and Mobile App,” marking a revolutionary step toward digital governance. This integrated citizen service platform brings together over 1,700 services and schemes from 56 state departments under one digital window, making government services simpler, faster, and more transparent. The initiative aims for 100% e-service delivery by 2026, strengthening Madhya Pradesh’s position among India’s leading digitally empowered states.
Developed by the Centre for Excellence of the Madhya Pradesh State Electronics Development Corporation (MPSEDC) under the Department of Science and Technology, the portal exemplifies the state’s vision of “Digital Governance is Good Governance.”
One Portal, All Services Unified
Through MP e-Seva (eseva.mp.gov.in) and its mobile app (available on Android and iOS), citizens can check eligibility, apply for services, track applications, and receive approvals — all through a secure digital system. The platform eliminates the need for multiple logins or repeated document submissions. Every step is authenticated through Aadhaar-based verification, e-signature, and digital certification, ensuring a paperless and faceless process that enhances convenience and transparency.
Integration with Samagra Portal for Seamless Access
The MP e-Seva Portal has been seamlessly integrated with the Samagra Social Security Mission Portal. Each family in the state now has an 8-digit Family ID and every member a 9-digit Member ID, allowing automatic verification of eligibility and preventing duplication or delay. One of the portal’s most innovative features is “Auto-Fetching Documents,” which eliminates the need to upload the same documents repeatedly — once uploaded, they are automatically available across all services.
Citizen-Centric, Accessible, and Secure Design
Designed with a mobile-first and multi-lingual approach, the MP e-Seva Portal ensures accessibility for both urban and rural users, including specially-abled citizens. Preliminary assessments suggest that this digital transformation could reduce governance costs by 40% and save over 50 million citizen-hours annually.
Madhya Pradesh’s Growing Digital Footprint
According to the National e-Governance Service Delivery Assessment (NeSDA Way Forward) Report released in September 2025, Madhya Pradesh has mapped 1,752 e-services and achieved 100% integration of all 56 mandatory departmental services on the MP e-Seva Portal, earning it the second rank in India. The state has already received prestigious recognitions, including the Prime Minister’s Award for Excellence in Public Administration for Cyber Tehsil and the National e-Governance Gold Award for Sampada 2.0.
With the MP e-Seva Portal, Madhya Pradesh has taken a decisive leap toward a fully digital, efficient, and citizen-first administration, setting new benchmarks for governance in India.
