Mandsaur Police Solve Murder Case Within 48 Hours; Husband-in-Law and Friend Arrested

Mandsaur: In a swift and decisive operation, Mandsaur Police have solved a brutal murder case within 48 hours, arresting two accused, including the victim’s husband-in-law and his friend. The incident took place in Bhuniyakhadi village under the Vaidyanagar police station jurisdiction.

Suspicious Death Turns Out to Be Murder

On November 19, authorities received information from Dharmendra Dhangar regarding the suspicious death of Kamal alias Bheru Dhangar (24), whose body was found at his father-in-law’s residence. Examination revealed deep injuries on the body, confirming it was a premeditated murder.

Investigation Leads to Arrest

A special team led by Sub-Inspector Vinay Bundela and Kapil Sauratiya, with technical support from the cyber cell, conducted a thorough investigation. Call records, surveillance data, and forensic analysis pointed to Jitendra Dhangar, Kamal’s husband-in-law, as the main perpetrator.

Motive: Revenge Over Alcohol Rehabilitation

During interrogation, Jitendra revealed that he was angry at his in-laws for sending him to a de-addiction center, which he perceived as an insult. Seeking revenge, he conspired to eliminate Kamal.

Execution of the Crime

Jitendra, with his accomplice Suresh of Saktkhedi, lured Kamal by offering alcohol to incapacitate him. Once Kamal was intoxicated, both brutally assaulted him with iron rods/pipes, leading to his death. After committing the murder, they attempted to flee, leaving the body at the scene.

Legal Action

Both accused were presented in court, and a case has been registered under Indian Penal Code sections 103 (murder) and 238(A) (tampering with evidence). Authorities praised the rapid investigation and arrest, highlighting the efficiency and preparedness of the Mandsaur police.
