Morena Domestic Dispute Escalates: Wife’s Relatives Assault Husband and Father-in-Law

Morena, Madhya Pradesh: A domestic dispute in Civil Lines, Morena, took a violent turn when a wife’s relatives allegedly attacked her husband and his father inside their residence in Prajapati Colony. The incident, recorded on mobile phones by neighbors, has gone viral on social media, prompting police action.

Violent Attack by Wife’s Family
According to reports, the husband and wife had been involved in an ongoing dispute. On Monday, without prior notice, several members of the wife’s family reportedly entered the husband’s home. A confrontation ensued, during which the husband was beaten severely. When the father-in-law attempted to intervene, he too was assaulted. Both sustained injuries and are receiving medical treatment.

Video Evidence Aids Investigation
Neighbors recorded the entire altercation on their mobile phones, which they later handed over to the police. The footage clearly shows multiple individuals entering the house and attacking the victims with sticks and rods. Based on the video evidence, police have identified more than half a dozen suspects and registered a case against them under sections related to assault and unlawful entry.

Suspects at Large, Police Investigation Underway
Following the attack, all suspects fled the scene. The Civil Lines police are conducting raids to apprehend the accused. Authorities confirmed that the video evidence has made identification straightforward, and they expect to arrest all suspects soon. The police are also investigating the underlying cause of the dispute and the history of conflicts between the two families.
