A shocking video from Pakistan’s Bahawalpur has gone viral, showing a joint gathering of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) terrorists. Among those present was the son of India’s most-wanted terrorist Hafiz Saeed. The gathering featured a militant anthem playing in the background with chilling lyrics: “We brought Bombay down; Agra and Delhi are nothing for us.” The event openly glorified terrorism and threatened future attacks on India.
Bahawalpur: Safe Haven for Terror Networks
According to an NDTV investigation, the gathering took place at a Jaish-e-Mohammed facility in Bahawalpur — the same region where India had destroyed JeM’s earlier headquarters during Operation Sindoor in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). Intelligence reports suggest this meeting was held in a new building constructed after the original complex was demolished.
The viral video shows several hardened militants, including those involved in the April terror attack in Pahalgam and the November car-bomb blast in Delhi. Their presence confirms that operatives from both LeT and JeM — groups responsible for some of India’s deadliest attacks — continue to collaborate closely under Pakistan’s tacit protection.
Lashkar Deputy Chief Spotted With JeM Commanders
The footage also captures Saifullah Kasuri, deputy chief of Lashkar-e-Taiba, standing alongside senior Jaish commanders. The gathering leaves little doubt that the two terror outfits are operating jointly, with India-specific missions at the core of their agenda.
Intelligence sources quoted by NDTV assert that such a large-scale assembly cannot take place without the full backing of the Pakistani state, its military, and the ISI. Fresh terror launch pads are also reportedly being rebuilt in Rawalakot, Pakistan-occupied Kashmir — signalling a renewed push to infiltrate militants into India.
Suicide Squad Being Prepared for Attacks in India
Last month, reports emerged that Jaish-e-Mohammed was preparing a dedicated “fidayeen” or suicide squad to carry out terror strikes inside India. Funds for this operation are being raised through digital channels, including the Pakistani app SadaPay, intelligence inputs reveal.
Since September, terror outfits have intensified infiltration, espionage, and cross-border logistics. Several modules of LeT and JeM are suspected to have crossed into Kashmir with the assistance of Pakistan’s Special Services Group (SSG) and Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) operatives.
Militant Infrastructure Flourishing
In September, NDTV released satellite images showing the construction of a large militant facility — Markaz Jihad-e-Aqsa — which LeT spokesperson Aamir Jiya falsely claimed was a mosque. This structure, located in the Lower Dir region of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, is believed to be a new training and operational base for militants who have relocated deeper inside Pakistan following precise Indian strikes.
