Despite three rounds of counseling, 1,232 seats in MBBS, BDS, and BSc Nursing courses across India remain vacant, according to the NEET UG 2025 Stray Vacancy Round Seat Matrix released by the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC).
The NEET UG 2025 exam was conducted in May, with results declared in June, and counseling beginning in July. Now, in November, the counseling process is still ongoing. Surprisingly, even after three rounds, over 1,200 seats in top medical courses remain unfilled, highlighting a critical trend in medical admissions.
